Our plebe is asking for a flag from his state. He wants to hang it in the hall outside his room. Any suggestions on a common size that is typical?
 
We contacted our state representative and explained why we were requesting a state flag. He then had it flown over the state Capitol. I believe it was approx. 3'x5.
 
State senator is the usual way people go. And 3x5 is the standard for outside the doors. Surprised it's taken this long to request one.
 
DD took one with her at Indoc. It has hung proudly above her bed now for 4 years....a piece of home. She took it to sea with her also.

We got ours at Walmart....little expensive $32.00 BUT well worth it. I didn't know that you could get one that flew above the State Capital....that would very neat

My son, who is currently in his second sea-split, bought our state flag on eBay for $.99 cents and had it mailed to school. It is 3 x 5.
