So, DS just received notification of interview with representative. It is over college Thanksgiving break. (He was not going to fly home but then we knew representative wanted in-person while senators more than willing to Skype). However, the representative’s liasion is offering 2 chances... our rep and the connecting district (she is for both reps). Anyone else have this opportunity? Of course DS will take both chances even if it limits his vacation time. Our rep provided a nom last year but ultimately qualified not selected for USMMA.

@jaglvr Are you saying that by having two interviews, your DS could potentially get a nomination from a rep in a neighboring district?

My DS sent his to both Senators Harris and Feinstein and our receipt had tracking automatically generated on it. He has not received his return postcards but it has only been a few days....

I got both my postcards back today! (Just over a month since I sent it.)

My DS is going for his first senatorial interview tomorrow with Senator Bill Nelson. He is calmed and taking it with peace. It just made me wonder how would everything go? We were told there will be 12 members on the board and the interview will be only 15 minutes.

He just came out of the interview there were only 4 members, they had only 3 questions and the interview lasted 10 minutes. He interviewed with Bill Nelson West Point Board, he has an LOA to WestPoint and that is his first choice. Now we wait for his next interview, also West Point Board but with Senator Marco Rubio.

This week is nice.
I was looking back to my calendar for last year, and my DS hadn't even gone to an interview yet.
This time last year, he was waiting for DoDMERB review. He didn't go to any interviews until November and received his 1st nomination in December.

I tell you, if your DD or DS is 3Q with a nomination by this week, I don't envy you the wait. :)

Agreed, this time last year DS had both his Senator NOM interviews, was looking to the weekend for the Congressional interview, had XC District meet that same morning, was still waiting to hear on DODMERB. Today I'm looking at my parent alumni association countdown clock excited that it reads 30 days till I see my mid

can anyone tell us here in Texas when should we expect to hear something? And when do you think letters might go out?

Our representative hasn't done any interviews yet; we were told ater elections. One of our senators doesn't do interviews and sent an email saying applications are being reviewed in JANUAURY and the other has been crickets from his office. We'll just see what happens.
