We are wondering same thing 😢

That is interesting. Thank you for sharing @Veridicalride! Soooo, should we assume that if DS didn't get an email to schedule an interview, that door is closed?

My son received an email Friday from one of the senators to schedule an interview.

This was from a few pages back in the thread (11/25/19) ^^^^^ ... but who knows.. and not sure from what Senator?

and then this... from another page.." DS just received an interview invite for Congressman Garamendi (CA-3). And a telephone interview invite for Senator Feinstein. No words from Senator Harris. Very thankful for all the support and wisdom on this site.

I didn’t get a call from either Senator, however, I don’t think we should say the door is closed. I’m not sure if you’re referring to the academy or to that specific nomination. If to the academy, we still got congressman interviews, but if to that nomination, sadly is probably a yes. I don’t work at any of the offices but I think that might be it :(

Yes, agreed. Still in the academy the game, just with no help from the senators. lol

TN-08 Notified me today by phone call, said they're gonna try to send them in this week

So is it not unusual to see the nomination posted in the portal but haven't receive any notification from the MOC?

No, not unusual. We saw the nomination (representative) on the portal on 11/19 but the call from their office to inform us didn't come until 11/27.

Are some MOCs still scheduling interviews? I know that they are in session currently but was unsure if they vary this much from rep to rep.

In all the time that I've been doing this, I have not had the actual MOC take part in any of the interviews. The work is generally done by the in-district staff and volunteers. As my current MOC is a USNA grad, you might expect more personal involvement but that was not the case.

Any news from Colorado, particularly the 4th district?
Jason Crow (6th) got his NOMs out today and his interview day was Sat 11/2. DS interviewed with Sen Bennet and Sen Gardner's panels ...no word from them, but they both had multiple interview Saturdays through mid-November with probably 4-5 times as many interviews to work through.

No news yet. My neice, who went through this process a couple of years ago in district 4, said that she heard just before Christmas. She heard from the Senators in January. Hope that helps....
