Hi Jachlee. Glad to see a fellow Washingtonian. I'm in WA-02 District, I haven't heard from my
Congressman yet. Have you heard from any of the senators?

We have not heard from any senators yet. My son got a nomination from congresswoman Delbane. It did not say what type so we are assuming it is not a primary? The official response from her office is per military academy rules, they are not allowed to discuss the nomination types, which I thought was strange.
Can anyone who has received nominations from congresswoman Delbane in past years comment on that?

I believe Senator Cantwell's nominations should be in now since I got one for USAFA :) Notification on my portal, saw it yesterday. Congressman Reichert's went out in late November (I also have one of those). I found this on Senator Cantwell's website: "As Sen. Cantwell uses the competitive method, she will nominate up to ten candidates for each vacancy." I'm assuming that means no principal nom.
Has anyone heard from Senator Murray? I found this on her website regarding Principal/Competitive method: "The admissions process is extremely competitive. Each year, Senator Murray receives 200 requests for academy nominations. Each year, Senator Murray nominates 10 applicants for each vacancy at each academy."

Senator Murray has sent out her nominations. I got an email saying I did not receive one.

I'm pretty sure the WA Senators don't do interviews. I just heard back from Senator Murray today, unfortunately I didn't get it. I still haven't heard from Senator Cantwell yet.

We never hard back from either senators (no email or phone call). However my DS received a call from Congresswoman Delbane in January to tell him that he received an appointment to USMA :)

My DS received a nomination from Senator M. Bennet via email sometimes in January (no snail mail follow up) . Senator Gardner sent a snail mail saying that my DS was receiving a nomination from another "Office", so I am assuming the MOC's collaborated and I don't think there will be multiple nominations in CO.

Now we wait.....patiently....but Plan B is in placed.

Good luck.

Our daughter received the same snail-mail from Sen Gardner after she received her nomination notice (both email and snail-mail) from our Congressman. But we never heard a word either way from Bennet's office - so our question is: was anyone who didn't receive a nom from him notified in any way? If you or someone you know received a turn-down for a nomination from Sen Bennet's office, please reply.

As far as nominations from multiple sources in Colorado, as far as I know that hasn't happened in many years - they always coordinate between the offices to make sure things don't get doubled-up. Thanks!

We haven't heard back about interviews yet, with the exception of one Senator letting us know that our DS would be getting an interview slot. I am just wondering if anybody from our state has heard anything yet. Less than a month away now.

Just received an email to schedule the interview at the office of our Congressional Representative.
