Hello.

I am John, a high school junior currently residing in Orange County, CA.

For anyone who lives or knows of anyone in the 45th district of California, I was wondering if you know from experience or via the grapevine about how competitive pursuing a nomination from Rep, Mimi Walters is.

If you have any statistics about the number of applicants per academy (the office staff were not allowed to divulge such information), that would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably the same as most others. They can nominate 10 applicants for every one open slot. Normally one slot available every year..... Sometimes two

A lot of Florida districts have had their nomination pipelines delayed a bit due to the damage from Irma. I know my district in north Florida has been pushed back a week to accommodate for the lost time.

We are concerned, as we have not yet heard anything about his interview, and it is only 1.5 weeks away now.

The wait was hard. Our DS did not hear until around December timeframe. So, be patient and tell your DS/DD to keep working out, stay safe and continue doing well in school.

Ok, about interviews, our DS heard from Senator Kaine and our Congressman in late Sept. He heard from Senator Warner in middle Oct.

Hello everyone,

So I received my letter for an interview for Senator Rubio's nomination and I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what to expect. Is it a panel or just one person administering the interview? How long is it usually? Thank you.

This week my son received invitations to interview with all 3 we sent- 2 scheduled for Sat 10/21 and one for Wed 10/25 at 11:00 am. Guess that’s a good enough reason to miss school in the middle of the day.
