To all new SA parents, for the classes of 2025, make sure you reach out to your SA state specific parent club. Due to privacy laws, clubs aren't given a list of appointees, so you have to reach out to your club to get involved. Clubs are great resources for new parents and appointees. We have welcome aboard events, All Academy Balls, parent get togethers (not during Covid sadly) and are generally there to support each other. Experienced parents and alumnus parents are great at helping us newbies out.
I would encourage all new moms and dads to seek and join your state club. And congratulations and welcome to the crazy ride!!! GO NAVY!!!!!!

For USAFA, here is the page with many parents club.
SPECIAL NOTE: notice there is a link for USAFA Virtual Parents Club. Yes! I think they are going to try to have quarterly zoom meetings.

There are different ways to get involved, from the main parents club, class spirit committees, squadron level, and specific events such as Texas Night or Texas Military Ball. Try to get involved with something, anything. We're all volunteers, and some can contribute more in time, $, etc but anything you can do including just showing up is worthwhile.

We had a great turnout at the yesterdays picnic and welcomed 6 P2Bs and 1 Future NAPSTER. Interesting to note that 2 of P2B are NROTC applicants and majority of the attendees were female!

Parents---your Parents club are great resource particularly for support during PS and the Academic year.

Ours is this coming Saturday. Super excited. We've found 15 incoming (2 NAPS 2023) and have 14 registered for our event. Super excited. One prior, three NAPS 2022. A great mix of varied experiences. I think we have at least one reapplicant as well.

And, we have 5 current MIDN representing several graduation years who are stepping up to represent and answer questions any incoming appointees may have. This is an opportunity for them to begin taking care of future sailors and marines and be leaders. Can't wait to see them in their uniforms.

We are looking forward to a great luncheon/program.
