TIPS---
1. Spend a lot of time on your essays, these are quite literally building the Admission Teams' perception of you as a person and potential officer. I had to revise mine over and over to make the word limit while also expressing what I wanted to. I also ran the essays around my school getting many teachers to check the formality and what they thought of it.
2. Even though it is listed on admissions page, CHASE ALL AVAILABLE NOMINATION SOURCES, I luckily live in a low competition state so I was able to score a Senate Nom and a MOC (Member of Congress Nomination).
3. Please prepare for the FFR (Field Force Rep aka an active duty (or guard in my case) army officer who interviews candidates) there is nothing more pleasing than hearing the phrase "good answer" after you talk about a certain question. Be prepared to talk about what you want to do in the army, as well as basic "why do you want to attend" type questions.
4. Use all available resources, I spent countless hours on YouTube, or talking to current cadets about what tips they might have. I cant say it will be the same for everyone, but be obsessed, if you aren't sure about if a SA is for you- it may be time to take a step back and reevaluate. I am not saying that you need to know exactly what you are going to do, because frankly; that is going to change. I personally have a friend who didn't know about the SA's until he took a tour of one, and he was accepted into USMA as well.

Finally, if there is anything you may be wondering feel free to ask, I will be the first to admit though I have never taken a class a WP or even stepped foot on the campus so I cannot speak on behalf of the cadet experience. Goodluck to all future cadet candidates!
