Status on DoDmerb

Question - my son has a link on the Dodmerb sight that shows he is qualified for USAFA and the Military Academy yet the status still shows "Remedial Requested" and "under Dodmerb review" in the status line...We already submitted the remedial hence the Qualified status in the link/letter. We emailed the DoDmerb contact and they confirmed that he is now qualified. Why does the status not update? Should it? Does it just take time? The Service Academy sites haven't updated to Qualified yet either. I would feel better if I saw qualified on the main screen (and not just the link/letter)

My son is in the same predicament. USAFA shows qualified on both DODMERB and the AFA portal (8/28), USMA has a letter posted on DODMERB as qualified but not on portal (9/11) and USNA reviewed his file on 8/28 - tech says he is qualified but no letter or update on portal. It has been over 3 weeks and nothing other than the tech saying he is qualified for all 3 that he applied to. Tech told him today that there is a communication error between DODMERB and the academies and there is no timeline to fix it. His files are complete for all.

My son is exactly on the same status.
DoDMERB website:
“Under DODMERB review”for USNA and USAFA”
USMA-Qualified with a letter.
On the academies portals:
USAFA: Qualified
USMA: Qualified
USNA: just has a different wording.

If any illness, surgery, or injury has occurred since the time of your initial DODMERB medical examination, send details and substantiating doctor's statement to nomapps@usna.edu.

The rollercoaster of status changes ended with a "Qualified" email from DoDMERB, an assurance from the DoDMERB Tech that the only matter is the letter, a USNA's BGO confirmed he Medically Qualified, and a status change on USNA to "Complete Pending Review". Praying for a smooth ride between now and 4/15.

The rollercoaster of status changes ended with a "Qualified" email from DoDMERB, an assurance from the DoDMERB Tech that the only matter is the letter, a USNA's BGO confirmed he Medically Qualified, and a status change on USNA to "Complete Pending Review". Praying for a smooth ride between now and 4/15.

My son checked last night as he is CPR on USNA but still shows no letter. Let the waiting begin!

Not sure if you were asking me or someone else but AFA was immediate and USMA the day after his file was reviewed. USNA still shows Under DODMERB review but tech says Q and USNA portal CPR. Only AFA portal shows the Q but there are letters from USMA and AFA on the DoDMERB portal.

Son emailed his admissions contact at USNA and he is now Q on the site. Waiting a couple more days for USMA to update or he will email admissions.
