So just got Intel that DS that his packet has not been reviewed by the admissions board yet. Guess I don't have to stalk this weekend...but we are getting awfully short in time. Oye!

We are in 21st district. As I stated before an appointment has been given but we believe the person had an LOA. Not sure if he was charged to our congressman.

So relieved for all those still stalking!

DS just submitted request last night for transfer of AROTC scholarship (awarded in 2nd board) to his #2 civ school (Catholic U) (was waitlisted at #1 school). Hoping for good news by May 5th. Still waiting to hear on NROTC MO...

btw, no hijacking intended - just wanted to let my friends here know what's happening with Plans B,C, etc. :smile:

Hearing the same information on our end.....I presume in both cases that the applications have been assigned a WCS, just not decided as yay/nay yet? Or does the board play a part in the WCS system? Which brings to mind the question...Is the NWL ranked by WCS and if you are next in line, is it automatic or does admissions have to look at the file to determine officially?
 
If they are still looking at scores and possibly still trying to figure out slates, is admissions truly at the waitlist stage or are they somewhere in between the MOC slates and qualified alternates/aka "national pool"?

From what I understand the waitlist doesn't really look at WCS other than those on it didn't make any other appointment slot, not even the national pool.

Maybe they are trying to finalize the qualified alternates and will select a few of the left overs for the wait list.
