Still Waiting?

Is anyone else still waiting to hear official word back from USMA? I received a QNS letter on April 28th, but the Northeast Director called me later that day and told me otherwise. He said that they had to send those out to everyone but that was just a formality and that I still have a shot. Could anyone clarify? I feel like either he is pulling my leg or that I am in a very slim minority of applicants right now. If anyone has any input or is in the same situation I would love to know. :help:

In the mean time I have accepted a 3-year AROTC scholarship at my current school so either way I'm going to be a 2LT, I would just prefer to have the West Point experience.

We were waiting past May 1st but never got a QNS letter. Appointment on May 4th.
 
We got an email from the NE region director yesterday saying the cycle was over did you get that email?
 
My understanding from a MALO is that the class is 99.9% closed . There is always a possibility of another VERY few people based on exceptional circumstances but only 5-10 people at most.
