Good morning all...I was just viewing calender and it shows STP classes starting July 3. Seems alittle odd with the 4th of July holiday and all. Do parents stay past registration? Just curious being new to all this.

I don't think too many folks hang around after dropping off young "Sluggo" or "sluggette" for STP, but nothing says they couldn't especially as the 4th will be off. 4th of July is a nice time in Lexington- small town America at its best kind of a thing . The last few years they have had a fair and a "Balloon Rally" and fireworks on the Parade ground. When you are attending STP - you are not a Cadet yet and you will be free to hang out on or off post with them if they chose to stick around LexVegas for that day.
