Streamlined application?

I have heard that the Falcon Foundation scholarship is the same (for AFA) as an AOG scholarship is for USMA. Is this true? Also, I read on a different thread that when Falcon sponsored preps reapply, they have a streamlined application so they dont have to do things like teacher LORS and others. Is this true? I know that every applicant still has to pass the CFA, DODMERB, nom, and have great grades and behavior of course.
Is it possible for a sponsored prepster to get an LOA during their prep year? Like say they are medically qualified and finish the application in September or October, and they did well on the CFA. Or are sponsored preps just placed into a different category?

The DODMERB is actually valid for two years. Hopefully someone else can answer whether or not Falcon Scholars can get LOA's...

Thank you for the reply. I forgot that DODMERB was valid for 2 years. My main question is, is the SA application for every sponsored student to their respective school "streamlined" or shortened in any way? And if so, how?

I've seen on other threads that Falcon Scholars keep much of their info from their first application (SAT scores, Transcripts, Letters of Rec., Medical status) in their USAFA portal when they go to reapply.

DD is AOG for WP and her RC told her that her application from this year will be transferred over so things such as LOR's, transcripts, test scores, CAR and SOE's would not have to be redone. Basically she would need to update application with LOR's from prep school professors, prep school transcripts, retake CFA and new ACT/SAT scores if applicable.

The short answer is yes. Sponsored preps will have a shorter application. However, I am not sure if there is a general application process for all sponsored preps, or if each individual application is edited according to the academies' needs...
