Hello I have a question, since I took the CFA at West Point SLE and it's on my file, how can I submit a new CFA since I didn't do that great on the first one?

I think you have to ask your RC if you can retake it. Your RC may or may not be willing to let you retake it.

This is incorrect. At SLE, we were told that the CFA administered at West Point was a "freebie" and encouraged us all to submit a new one once the portal opened.

My bad. I didn't attend SLE so I wasn't aware that the CFA there was different than a normal CFA.

That's a bit confusing though. If the OP's CFA from SLE is on his portal and there is no option to submit a new CFA on his file, how is he supposed to submit another CFA?

Yeah, it says that it's already submitted. Do I just contact admissions to remove it so I can retake it?

If I were you I would contact my RC. Your RC is the person who has the authority to allow candidates to retake the CFA. Some RC's are not as generous as others with retakes, so you may or may not be able to retake the CFA.

Interesting. My portal (I went to SLE) is open to a new CFA.

Since I took my CFA during SLE, I think that I will be able

I went as well, but there is no new CFA I can submit. Since I passed the CFA at SLE, I don't have to take another?

Well they were pretty adamant at my session that even if we passed, we should take it again to improve our scores.

Is the option just not available to you? On my portal it has a place to enter in the point of contact for who will be administering the CFA, and I assume they are the ones who enter in the scores.

Actually on mine, it says that CFA instructions aren't available yet.

I think the key word is yet...

Once you input the POC, I think the packet will become available. Just my guess.
