Has anyone had experience with psychologist notes? I had to submit all his notes, unfortunately, and they are going to have to try and read through 85 pages of it...

I'm guessing it's going to take the full 15 business days...??

I submitted over 100 pages of information for my two remedials.
I heard back in less than a week that I was qualified.

Just heard back. DQd for this too. I swear DoDMERB is trying to keep me out of USNA for some reason. I don’t even meet the criteria which they listed. For either DQ. So frustrating.

Does anyone know the likelihood of receiving more than one waiver if both are for minor issues? I am basically disqualified on a technicality for both.

If it is likely, and you are otherwise qualified, they will initiate a waiver.
If they do not, it is probably unlikely that those particular conditions receive waivers.

Make certain your plans B, C are shored up.

This is a pretty poor attitude - suggesting that a giant governmental agency has something personal against YOU? They are charged with applying current law and DQing those who fail to meet current standards for health - that's it. The academies can grant a waiver, consistent with their own governing authority, should they choose to do so. Medical standards exist for the protection of the service, those who might be led someday by the candidate, and for the candidate's own health. No one has a right to attend these academies.

DODMERB is the most objective piece of the whole process. I heard at a MOC SA form this year that only about 30pct of the population is medically qualified to serve in a military.

You will have to work through this the exact same way anyone else would. It’s nothing personal.

Wow. Of course they aren’t actually out to get me..... it was a joke... obviously.

A great lesson in how conversations in settings such as this, without the benefit of facial expression, body language and vocal tone, can easily be processed with different shades of meaning.

I thought it was absurd enough to say a random government agency is out to get me.. agreed. I must be more careful without the benefit of body language and tone. Also, I think sometimes people here are too sensitive to things like that.

From your perspective as the author, yes, but over the years and hundreds of posts, there are many statements posted that, surely, are meant as a joke. But they are not.

Respectfully, it was clearly a joke.
Your comment back at @kinnem was neither clear nor respectful.

Instead of accepting his suggestion to you graciously (that would have been respectful), you chose to double down on your premise that we are all too dense to perceive that your comment was a joke.

I recommend you re-think your approach to receiving constructive feedback.

Remember, too, that your history of past posts sets a tone...past discussions can taint/form opinions. No one operates in a vacuum. Going forward, on a forum, stating your intent is necessary if you want readers to read you in proper context. It’s impossible without context to pull intent. Words are words.
