Suggestions for Reapplication improvements?

<u>I understand no one is capable of telling me of the chances I have to get offered an appointment</u>, but I'm curious to hear some of your opinions regarding parts of my application. Anything is appreciated.<br /><b>SAT</b>: 650 English &amp; 670 Math<br /><b>GPA:</b> 3.97 unweighted (last time I checked) &amp; 4.565 weighted<br />AP's: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics 2, Statistics, Language and Comp, Literature and Comp, Environmental Science, and US History.<br />Honors: Geometry, Algebra 2, Bio, Physics 1, French 2-4, English 9-10, World Studies, Chem.<br />CP: Precalc and Calc (Finished with A in both.)<br /><b>Class Rank:</b> 12/270 top 5%<br /><b>Varsity Sports:</b> Soccer sophomore year. I assume you applied and received a TWE. Your stats seem consistent with being a competitive candidate. Sometimes it is nothing you are missing from the application, but that in your area there were stronger candidates and the national pool is very tough.

You have read the SAs like to see persistence and look favorably on re-applicants. You have a chance to go to school and show success in college. It looked to me like you might be a little light on the upper level math courses so taking Calculus in college and doing well may help you. Take the SAT and the ACT and post higher scores. Keep in touch with your ALO and MOC and let them know of your intention to reapply and ask for advice from each of them.

Finally, focus on what you accomplished in your leadership roles instead of just the number of leadership roles you held. How did you make a difference? Best of luck to you.
