Summer Seminar Acceptance

Mine hasn't changed yet. Has anyone from Colorado had their application status changed?
 
Mine finally changed to applicant as well. I think they do it by state because I am also from NJ.

Haha I think we all are! I'm just really worried about my GPA right now, not where I want it to be :frown: . PT is going well though.
 
I'm from California, and my status still says "Application submitted". Anyone from CA have theirs reviewed yet?

Someone said earlier that the process is divided into AOs, and each AO has about 5-7 states in their region. So maybe your AO either hasn't started yet, or they're on a different state. So don't worry about being the last people to get served :thumb:
 
California as well...still "application submitted". If they are working their way across the country, we will most likely be last.:smile: Good practice for the real "hurry up and wait" though. I just hope that scores and ecs were enough for admittance...there isn't really a whole person concept with this application. anyone know the percentage of summer seminar attendees accepted the next year?
 
For the people that got accepted, how long did you wait between "Under Consideration" to accepted?

My application status went from "Application Submitted" to "Applicant" and then back to "Application Submitted".

What's up with that?
 
Did you edit it after it changed to Applicant? That might be the reason, bit i am not sure, just speculation.

DS has been a candidate for a while now but called his AFA Counselor and she said that his application had been before the 'panel' and should soon go to the 'board'. Not sure what this means exactly... but he's still waiting for a nomination so, IDK. Anyways, does the academy review applications by state or is there a process by which they review only those with nominations at this point in time?

I got accepted was checking my email started from the bottom as usual didn't see it at all till I ran into it even though I scanned most of them. So anticlimatic :eek: goin session 1, because my school gets out pretty late. Lots of slots still in each session.

the SC in ur location and user name indicates South Carolina, right?

I'm from SC but still waiting.

Ironically, I applied to WP SLS a few weeks ago and was accepted within a week.
