I am currently filling out the application for the USAFA Summer Seminar and I was completing the Extracurricular portion. The problem is, I filled out 10 entries for the extracurriculars and then I could not add any more. It seems as though this is the limit. Because they require you to separate being a captain of a sports team, being on varsity, and being an all-state player, this took up 3 of the 10 forms. Does anyone know if I can add more than 10 or if this is the limit?

So you have three sport I'm assuming? 3x3=9 so that means something else is taking up that one spot. I wouldn't try an fit more but instead chose which ten are most important to you and go with those

Well on the application, it says "If you are adding an athletic extracurricular activity, you must enter each athletic level as a separate entry. Example 1: If you are a football team captain and an all state player, you should submit three forms: one for football varsity, one for football captain and one for football all State." So that means that baseball and football will take up 5 of my 10 slots, which is unfortunate that that is already half. I will most likely just narrow my EC's down to 10 based on importance. Thank you

Trust me I remember. I was JV and varsity in two different sports plus awards and a state runner. Based on a few other things I seen with the academies they do this on purpose because it's an extra step that shows who really is paying attention and wants it. The more information they're given the more they have to file through so them limit it ( like with the essays).

Thanks for the information!

Hello, I turned in my application already and had the same problem with not having enough forms for all of my extracurriculars. I play 4 varsity sports as a captain along with other academic extracurriculars, so I faced the exact same issue as you did. I contacted the USAFA admissions team about this, and received a reply that told me to list my highest achievement in each sport, then detail my other achievement in said sport in the “additional information” section. For example, for football I created one form as a varsity captain in 11th grade then detailed that I was a varsity lettering player in 9th-11th grade. I did this for all of my sports. I even emailed a member of the admissions team that I have had previous communications with to make sure that this was acceptable, and they told me that this would work perfectly. They also mentioned that they would bring up this conflict to the admissions team to see if it might be resolved in the coming admissions cycle for the class of 2026. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me, I would be happy to clear up any confusion that my description may have brought you. Good luck and I hope to see you next summer at USAFA!
