I thought I had read that USAFA provided transportation from Den to USAFA for ss in the past. Maybe I got that wrong, but flights to cos are so much more expensive! Also the times they ask (before noon and leave after 330pm make scheduling difficult as well)

Are there inexpensive ways to go from den to USAFA?

We flew into Denver and rented a car to drive to Colorado Springs. I found an Air BNB that was very reasonably priced in Springs and stayed there while he was at the Academy. We could not find a good solution for him to fly directly into Colorado Springs, either, so I went with him to get him from Denver to the Academy.

Can take Groome shuttle from DIA to COS.

Just an FYI... The Groome Shuttle picks up & drops off at the Academy Hotel (outside of the USAFA South Gate). If you're travelling by yourself, you'll need to UBER to/from USAFA to the Academy Hotel.

Check with Groome. They are in the process of having a stop at USAFA!
They claimed it would start this summer -- but I don't have the exact date.

Add in your cost of a shuttle from Denver to Colorado Springs and your time and I bet it’s close to the same price of the ticket into Springs.
