Summer Seminar Portal

Hi All,
DD is very excited to attend SS (assuming it isn't cancelled). Our bank says the money order was cashed on 3/23, but her portal still doesn't show her as having paid...do we need to worry? Or more likely things are just slow given COVID....are other portals updated and showing paid?
Thanks for any input.
 
I had similar concerns with DS's SS payment. It was mailed very early and all other forms were complete. I Emailed the SS contact. They responded that they were just short handed. His payment status updated a few days later (last week i think) but it did take a long time. I'm just hopeful it happens. Our boys state was cancelled already it was scheduled for end of June.

Mine says that too. I sent them an email and they replied with "we have limited staffing due to the virus so it may take up to four weeks. Stay patient!"

Hi,
I was able to get a copy of the money order from the bank. It was cashed by AF on 3/23...so at least I know they have the $$. Thanks for input.
 
I sent certified mail but still haven’t gotten a card back. I sent last week because I was waiting to see if they cancelled. Since they didn’t, we went ahead and took it to the post office and mailed it. She filled out enrollment form upon acceptance.
 
DD received an email response - 4 weeks behind updating payment..All other "check marks" are good on her portal.
 
As per @flieger83 who posted this on the other SS thread:
.."a decision about the status of the Summer Seminar will be made no later than May 1."
so you have plenty of time.
