Good afternoon! I just finished my Summer Seminar Application and was wondering two things (so far):
1. How do my standardized test scores affect my selection for the summer seminar? Covid got in the way of my test dates and was forced to submit older scores that I feel do not accurately reflect me today.
2. How long does it typically take to find out if I got accepted or denied?
Thank you all very much!

I am applying for it as well and the application isn't due until Mar. 31 so I don't know how everyone finds out in early March? What happened to me was I took an SAT quick just to have one and I am taking it again in March so I can put that on my application.

I am unsure which Summer Seminar you may be applying to but I am talking about the Air Force Academy Summer Seminar whose application deadline is tomorrow, Jan 15th.

You should change your user name. You never want to use your real name here.

Another question here, if I get rejected will I be given feedback on what I could have done better? Thanks!

I’m not positive, but I wouldn’t think so. However, when the PCQ opens up and candidates are designated, I’m sure that we can talk to our ALO’s and they’d be happy to help out.

Getting rejected from the Summer Seminar usually doesn't necessarily mean you have a weaker application than if you got in. They have limited spots and (I've read) often use it as a recruiting tool for groups who are underrepresented, whether geographically, racially or otherwise. I've seen lots of posts about people getting rejected from the Summer Seminar and then getting appointments.
