I haven't gotten an email about an acceptance/rejection from USNA yet, but I have accepted one for the AFA. I took the 3rd session there to minimize conflicts with any of the Naval Academy sessions because it is my first choice. But what if the session that they assign me overlaps? Is there any possiblity of switching sessions? Or will I have to reject one of the academies?

When my son did it he put down that he was only available for session 1 at NASS, to avoid conflicts with the other two. I don't know about NASS (maybe you could call and ask if he could change his preference), but I know the USAFA one said it was changeable if there were still slots left, but when we looked to try to do it online, it said we had to call as well. Since USAFA is at the very end of their application time (application is closed, but they are still assigning slots) and USNA is just starting, I'd probably call USNA first and ask if you could remove session 3 from your choices.

I asked the same question a while back. In fact, I'm also attending AF summer seminar 3 and was concerned about overlapping. Anyway, someone told me that they had the same conflict a while back and was able to call admissions and re-schedule their NA summer seminar.

Luckily, I was able to get into NASS session 2, and avoided having to call. Hope you get accepted to NASS! It's going to be amazing!

Thanks! I think I might contact admissions after (and if) I get accepted. I am glad to hear that it is possible to switch it though. I am so excited about the AF summer seminar too! I live in CO (like 30 min from AF) so I am looking forward to the NA one way more because I would actually get to leave the state and experience something new.
