Superintendent's List star...`

Can anyone tell me what size these stars are? Why is kind of a long story...

Welcome new member as of a few hours!

In the screenshot below, you can see the midshipman in foreground is wearing Supe’s stars on the collar near the midshipman anchors, while the midshipman next to him is not. You can get an idea of the size - perhaps a pea in diameter.

Not sure about USCGA. For USNA its a "Five Pointed...1/2 inch star.." according to the uniform regs. https://www.usna.edu/UniformRegs/Chapter3-InsigniaAndDecorations/midshipmen-insignia.php
