time with your swab in port

It can vary for each Swab. Plan to be flexiable and arrive without expecations as you will not know schedules until the last moment. However, many of the Swabs who don't have visitors at port are often willing to swap schedules to ensure that their peers have visitation with families and friends who are at port. The Swabs take care of one another, so hopefully you will have enough time to sit down for a nice long meal together plus some... In fact, your Swab may even have the night off and can stay with you at a port hotel. And for the majority who can't chase the Eagle - don't worry. The visiting families always seem to take care of everyone, plus they take hundreds (no more like thousands) of pictures and post these on the parent web site for all to enjoy! Buy a box of tissue and keep it by your computer, because I promise you will start to cry when you see your young adult looking very polished in these photo galleries.
