Swimmer Sunspots/Tinea Versicolor Disqualifying?

Hi I'm a sophomore swimmer/ water polo player and I along with my teammates have a pigment discoloration disorder I guess? on our skin. I've researched it and it's called Tinea Versicolor and it's caused by fungus from the pool. It's white spots on the skin such as cheeks and chest area. So I am just curious if it can disqualify you from the academy so I know to make sure it goes away. It is also not contagious. Thanks in advance!

Section 22 on pages 36-38 seem relevant to your question. I did not see "Tinea Versicolor" listed as a condition of concern; however, skin fungal infections is covered in item "t."

"t. Current localized types of fungus infections (117), interfering with the proper wearing of military equipment or the performance of military duties. For systemic fungal infections, refer to paragraph 24.wq. of this enclosure."

You might want to to consult your dermatologist.
