Swimming at AIM?

Last year my cadre took us swimming at the pool during free time. So the swim suit is for that, we did not change into our suits for sailing.

The goal is not to get wet while sailing....once you get a "taste" and smell of the Thames River you'll understand why. I swam twice in the river....my partner neglected to tell me we were tacking .... face full of boom!

I did not realize we would be getting free time! :yllol:

I'm excited, I've heard mixed reviews about AIM being fun, but I've also heard it's incredibly difficult.

I guess I should rephrase that as "Free Time." Haha. Don't get me wrong, AIM was incredibly difficult. I literally felt like I was a cadet for a week, but it was also one of the best summers I've had. Hopefully I'll be able to say the same about BEAST this summer at West Point
