I see that we need to supply our t shirt size before basic. Are these t shirts they are talking about those classic white and navy ringer tees? I just want to make sure that the sizes are the same as normal Gildan shirts at home. I'm right between a medium and a large.. So not sure what exactly to choose.

I also was wondering about the shirt sizes... I assume these are men's sizes? I usually wear a small.

Supply needs to get an estimate of what to have on hand. You'll get the white and blue PT shirts, white undershirts for Blues, and sand t-shirts for ABUs.

Based on shirts from 2016-the blue and white shirts run a little large. Just my observation. They also do not shrink like they did before. They are made of a a performance material vs. cotton. Maybe a 2017'er could add more.

What in the world?!

Back when it was hard... we had to hand write our names, centered perfectly over the USAFA with 1 inch letters on cotton shirts that shrank in all kinds of weird ways. It was always hilarious when you had a classmate misspell his or her own last name!

I'm a 17'er. All the shirts are regular sizes except the Physical Conditioning shirts (White and Blue). I normally wear Medium, but for those PC shirts, I need to wear a small.. Medium is loose, but it's not too bad.

Do they make you tuck the shirts in?

All t-shirts are tucked in, in all uniforms (PC to ABU and Blues). Make sure that before you take the infamous bus ride, you tuck in your shirt too.
