Just failed the tape test and H/W for AROTC. Was given no prior warning about H/W so was a couple pounds over. Now I have one month to pass the tape test or I lose my scholarship. Any advice? (18 year old female btw).

I recommend the keto diet. If done properly, you will drop several pounds in water weight in the first week alone.

Cut weight by doing cardio and go on a calorie deficit. I lost roughly 9 pounds in the matter of 1 month just from a deficit, of course that is paired with lifting and cardio.

I know there will be a lot of good advice on here as to what to do. But I think it's worth noting what NOT to do as well.

DO NOT go on a starvation diet and risk passing out or just being completely miserable. You will put your body into a survival mode and you may even gain weight rather than lose it.

Avoid the magic pills and potions. They don't work, or maybe better said, they don't work for long enough to sustain.

Energy drinks are the devil's brew.

Avoid wraps and other tricks that you hope will magically remove pounds. If you do faddish diets, you tend to take weight/size from your neck first, which doesn't help on the taping.

Intermittent fasting has been recommended by a few people I know. If you are disciplined, it can work. If you aren't, then it's just frustrating. It boils down to controlling portion size and the types of foods. You can cheat a little bit with a lot of cardio. You just have to put the willpower in motion. I think it's best if you have a friend who can work with you to keep you motivated. Don't be afraid to ask someone to help workout or run with you.
