Tattoo question

I heard somewhere that the army is changing their tattoo policy, tattoos below the knee will no longer be allowed. My family has a tradition where everyone gets a shamrock a little bigger than a quater tattooed on their inside calf. Should I get tattooed before I start arotc next fall? I already had my DoD medical exam if that means anything.
