As the title states I'm a college re-applicant for the Class of 2025. Right now I'm working through my application (specifically the Evaluator Selection Form) and would like some input on who to request an evaluation from. According to the Candidate Instruction Handbook: "...if you are in college and you have or are taking a college Math or English course, we recommend these professors complete the respective evaluations." With COVID my English/Math classes will be entirely online and almost entirely independent of any direct interaction between myself and the professor. Would I be better off if I request evaluations from my Senior year English/Math teachers? Especially considering I was on very good terms with both before my high school shut down?

Any and all advice is appreciated.

JMHO - follow the guidance of the CIH and have your college professors submit the evaluations (USAFA would not provide these guidelines if your performance in college was not an essential component of your ranking). Chances are, USAFA will not evaluate your application until after they receive the grades from your first semester, so there is no need to rush submission of the evaluations.

Even though the classes will be online, you will still have the opportunity to establish relationships with the instructors. Reach out to them, solicit their input early as often in the semester - give them the opportunity to get to know you, your drive to succeed, and your ability to succeed in a challenging environment.
