I know for USMA you need three teacher recommendations (math, science, english) for your profile. I have chosen my officials, now I ask what do these individuals do when they have completed their letters? What website, software etc would they use to get this letter to academy admissions?

If it's like last year, you will enter your teachers' e-mail addresses into your portal and they will be sent a link with specific instructions/questions from Admissions. Once they submit that back to Admissions, it will turn into a green checkmark. But you can also have these teachers write actual LORs for your MOC nomination packages, if your MOC requires such letters of rec.

Make sure you are clear that West Point only wants to hear from a chemistry or physics teacher.

Last year a PE instructor recommendation was also required, so a total of 4 teacher references.

Just had a briefing from a WP rep. This year, 4 recommendations will be required: Math, English, Science (Chem or Physics) and PE.

What if I have never taken PE? My school exempts students from PE if they play sports.

PE is interchangeable with sports. Just get your coach to sign it, thats what I did, and I got in.

The Admissions officer made it clear that it should be a PE teacher and not a coach. However, if you never had a PE teacher, you need to contact your Regional Commander to get permission to use a vivable substitute.
