Does anyone know how long it takes for the teachers to receive the email requesting their LOR's once their email has been submitted on the portal?
 
Usually is instantaneous, or at least when I did the application 4 years ago it was.
 
My DD has checked with both teachers and neither have received it and she did this on Monday I believe. I'll have them check their spam folders. Thank you.
 
Yes they can go to spam quite easily, especially if they were sent to a "k12.xx.us" type of address. They are still sent basically instantaneously per GoNavyPro's description.
 
Some schools anti -spam even screen them out. you may have to use their private e-mail or work with a principal or someone to get it into the system and then to the proper teacher.
