Should I put down that I am a team co captain on the application when in reality our coach doesn't officially appoint captains but wants all the seniors (which I am) to be captains? I would ask him, but he went on a 3 month vacation to Germany, so I cannot contact him. Thanks for your thoughts in advance!

It is really more of a leadership position thing. If your team only has like 5 seniors, then maybe it would be okay for your coach to say you are all Captains. But if he is saying he wants you to all act like captains, then you are not all really captains, you are more of a role model of sorts. West Point is looking for guys that have been selected to leadership positions for a reason, not labeled a leader simply because he/she was on the team. Maybe talk to your coach about actually electing captains by having the team vote...
