Thanks! We got a letter back in December that's he didn't get Fincher's/Kustoff's. But that was the same as last year, except DS got Alexander's last year. We knew from Fincher's office last year that we were going to be on a senator slate. It's definitely different this year though with the office switching.

Now the wait! No email from Corker for DD, so we continue to wait for Alexander and TN-05.

Friend of ours got nom from Blackburn in the mail today for USMA and DS got an email that Blackburn's panel did not give him a nom for USNA. Hopefully that means Senator nom will come through. I guess most noms are about to hit soon.

Still crickets here...No one around here has heard from either Senator for any SA (at least the 5 applicants that we know)? The wait continues....

Nice surprise :) DD has been unusually moody this past week...told me last night, "Mom, I'm suffering from appointment anxiety!" She has been pretty poker faced up until now about the whole thing, but I think big waves of appointments starting to come out sent her over the edge lol.

Which academy is your DD working toward?

Her first choice is WP, followed by USNA and then USAFA. Originally it was USNA, USAFA then WP because she wanted aviation but on a visit to AFA found out she is too small for jets so she had to start looking past the desire to fly and figure out what academy would offer her the best options for other career paths. She would like to major in languages (specifically Arabic) so WP offered the most opportunity in that area. I assume your DS is hopeful for USNA?

Yes, USNA like his dad. I couldn't be more proud. Last year we were waitlisted. Hoping for a better outcome this year. He is USNA or bust.
