I finally got notification of DODMERB qualification today. I first took my physical in June 2007, so its almost taken a year for me to get qualified. Finally AFROTC approved my waiver request for sinusitis. It took months of doctors visits and tests to convince them I dont have asthma or serious sinus problems and all the other stuff they said was wrong with me.


I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum for the helpful advice, especially RetNavy. It was a huge help to have somewhere to get some info during that stressfull process.

Congratulations on finally getting everything completed!!

It can be a rough, and sometimes very long, process, so congrats to you for hanging in there as well!!

Way to go, Nick!!!! I didn't think anyone could have taken longer to get a waiver than my daughter (July 2007 to May 2008), but I guess you did! (Not that you wanted that type of record.) Best wishes in your AFROTC program and after commissioning!
