Should you write a letter of thanks to your congressman upon receiving a nomination as a nice gesture?
I haven't done so yet, but was thinking it would be nice to do. Any thoughts?

Sure. Why not? They represent you...so they are supposed to work for you.


I got two nominations from Sen. Bill Frist. I ran into him twice. Both times he remembered that we gave me nominations to USNA and USMMA. He also knew I decided to go to USCGA. I was surprised he remembered, especially as the majority leader of the Senate.
