The Best College in Each State For Getting a Job

Definitely good for the SMCs included in the rankings (especially VMI as #1) and certainly adds to the discussion on this and other forums regarding the benefits of attending an SMC. No doubt VT, TAMU, and Norwich also scored very high as well.
From the article:

"Below is a list of the top fifty, but first, here’s the best of the best:
  1. Virginia Military Institute — Virginia
  2. Saint John’s University — Minnesota
  3. Assumption College — Massachusetts
  4. Hastings College — Nebraska
  5. Wartburg College — Iowa
  6. Saint Michael’s College — Vermont
  7. Rhodes College — Tennessee
  8. University of Mary — North Dakota
  9. Susquehanna University — Pennsylvania
  10. llinois Wesleyan University — Illinois"

Seems like a strange list to me.....

I would think UVA over VMI, Harvard or MIT over Assumption, UPenn over Susquehanna, etc.....

That can be explained. At those large colleges, you have many students pursing degrees that are worthless in terms of actual employ ability.

Virginia actually has a database which keeps track which college majors graduates have success with.
