The big wait starts

It’s somewhat nerve-racking. DD was cool, calm, and collected. Not sure how.

She was CPR by mid-December and got her appointment mid-January.

Nice!! DS finished everything except securing a nomination at the beginning of September for USNA and NROTC and his MOC packets are in so I know hes got a LONG wait ahead. Ugh!

Our DS is done with USNA, done w/ USMA (minus CFA, can't upload videos today) including interview, 95% done with USMMA and 90% done with USAFA. NROTC is another animal, just opened that one up a week ago, and 50% through Common App. Man this is time consuming! All MOC's are done. Let the impatient foot tapping begin. Good luck to all!

We have the extra anxiety of waiting on DoDMERB, DD is under waiver review and not sure how that’s going to end up. She has finished submitting to her back up schools and trying to get those MOC applications done. Good Luck to everyone! :)

Good luck to all! When it was all said and done I waited for 5 months to hear back from USNA and they took it down to the wire. It’s all apart of the process though. Near the end the waiting was starting to drive me crazy!

DS finished his app in August last year only to be placed on the waitlist and not getting the final notification until June. Hurry up and wait indeed.

Good luck to all c/o 2024 candidates.

Same here - I have been CPR since late August and waiting on nom interviews. My NROTC packet has been sent in but I am very unsure why my dashboard still shows everything "pending" as it has been since July that I sent everything to my coordinator. No response from my first choice NROTC school for an officer interview. So I am waiting and hoping patience wins out. :)

Same for my son but hang in there, he just got an email last night for NROTC interview to take place next week.

The wait can seem like forever, but the year will fly. I didn't receive my BFE until April after shoveling snow for a few hours. It's hard to believe that I still remember it so vividly and it's already been 10 years since that day.
