Bastin Hall houses all of the School of Business programs that used to be housed in Bond Hall. The new $25 million building sits near the intersection of Hagood Avenue and Congress Street, across the road from the school’s football stadium and Alumni Center. Description below:

Definitely a nice and much needed addition. Glad to see these new building going up and providing updated learning environments. Hopefully the Engineering buildings are on the list to be upgraded.

EEBTTF - A new Engineering Facility is in the Strategic Plan, but no start date. The next new building will be the replacement for Capers Hall, which houses the liberal arts programs plus Intelligence & Security. Demolition of Capers Hall will start this year, after a delay caused by the Charleston Architectural Review Committee - the burden of being within the historic city limits - lol.
