Yes.

Rolling admission
is a policy used by many colleges to admit freshmen to undergraduate programs. Many schools in the United States also have rolling admissions policies. Under rolling admission, candidates are invited to submit their applications to the university anytime within a large window.

you can apply anytime after the end of your junior year in high school; once application, transcripts and SAT scores are received a decision is usually made within 2-3 weeks. The freshman class is usually filled by the first of March so getting an early start is important, especially concerning academic scholarships since the start getting handed out early and go fast.

Here is the link to home page of The Citadel webpage. Plenty links to follow loaded with tons of information, numbers and contacts. In particular check the admission and financial links. 5 international Cadets of 712 are not many but remember that does not reflect the overall make-up of college students in Charleston S.C. Colleges in the area, The Citadel, College of Charleston, Medical College of SC, and Charleston Southern. Also other film and law schools. When I mean in the area, Charleston Southern is about 18 miles or so out of town. All the others are downtown in the City.

Hi - are you applying for the Class entering Fall of 2016 or 2017?

Rolling admissions does not mean you can apply whenever you want. It means you can apply whenever you want within a limited time-frame. The deadlines vary by course of study and can be found in the course catalog. However, I am virtually certain the application deadline for 2016 fall admission passed long ago.

The Citadel usually begins accepting applications in the summer following the student’s junior year of high school. Operating on a rolling admission basis, the Admissions Committee evaluates admissions portfolios as they become complete. Decisions (acceptances and denials) are then communicated accordingly.

I want to apply for the Class entering Fall of 2016.
Ok - but I suggest you hurry and get your application into the school. The application is short and can be done on line. The deay can be getting your SAT score and High School grades to the Admission office. The Class is typically limited to just over 700, and according to the college 869 accepted applicants have paid their deposits to reserve their place in the Fall 2016 Class. However - a certain percentage of those who send in deposits decide to go elsewhere so the college always accepts more than they have room for - so don't be discouraged.
