New Scholarships and Degree Programs have been or are being implemented at The Citadel. In addition to the Scholars Program me tioned below, highly qualified applicaants are eligible for the Honors Program merit scholarships as well as other merit and financial need based aid.

“Scholars Program” new scholarship opportunities for cadets targeting Science, Engineering, Business, Cybersecurity and Intelligence and Education majors. These scholarships will include both merit and need based awards, as well as travel abroad stipends, and may be stacked with ROTC or other awards not to exceed cost of attendance.

The Citadel Business School will be offering business majors certification on Bloomberg Terminals for financial transactions and tracking and SAP for supply chain management.

The Citadel's Nursing degree program will graduate its first class this year. It is a highly selective program set up in coordination with both military services and State of SC which have critical nursing shortages. Entering Cadets will enroll in the Biology or Chemistry major and those selected for the program will take Clinical training at the VA hospital in Charleston and other area medical facilities.
