It is actually a rather nice letter if you can get past the bad news. Mr. Mullen - it would be really great to include an explanation of why you've been disqualified in the letter. I know my first reaction was "how the heck did they decide that," and it would have been helpful to know exactly what the reviewer was looking at that they thought was disqualifying.
The nice letter also invited me to submit any additional information not previously submitted regarding the disqualifying condition. What happens with that information? Does DoDMERB review the information and reconsider the disqualification when they get new information or do they just forward it to the waiver authorities? Do you need to specifically ask DoDMERB to take another look at the validity of the disqualification after you submit additional information? Thanks!
