It probably won't happen. Lots of money has been spent doing this and congress would have to approve the change back to how we did things before. I will say though that my wife and I have been getting excellent care at WR and at the hospital in the photo which is Fort Belvoir.

The hospitals are staffed with mostly Corpsmen and Medics and military nurses and physicians with a sprinkling of civilians doing patient care. Both facilities have figured out the COVID thing as far as the pharmacy and other ancillary services and in some ways they have gotten faster in their delivery.

COVID may actually have saved the military hospitals. I can't imagine the contractors doing the 24/7 work that was necessary. But we shall see. As they say in the military, DHA running things briefed well.
