The Everything Drawer - Everyone has one, right? (post anything - within the rules)

Looks pretty sleek. I wonder what the weaponry is

First time on this website but this article has lots of info on the CCH in its different configurations. The fourth is on order. I'm not sure if the one I posted is the first, second, or third. I read this one is being used for drug interdiction.

So many iconic scenes. . . jumping the motorcycle over the fences and the ball and glove being tossed to him as he headed to "the cooler" spring to mind.
Some amazing "behind the scenes" stories from that movie...examples...

When Donald Pleasance made some technical suggestions about the POW camp to the director John Sturges, he was politely told to keep his opinions to himself. Members of the cast took Sturges aside and informed him that Donald Pleasance had been a POW in Germany during WWII. As soon as Sturges learned this, he began asking for Pleasance's insight all the time.

Or that Steve McQueen was only in the movie to show off his motorcycle skills? That was in his contract. He loved it so much that he played his famous character "Hilts" but he's also the German soldier chasing Hilts on a motorcycle, and the German crashes into the barbed wire. Hilts does too later.

Incidentally, the barbed wire was made by all the actors...its rubber, and they all tied it during their breaks/downtime.

I know..." why does he know this trivia..." I can't explain it however, my wife has refused to play Trivial Pursuit for decades.

Trivia...I got; important stuff...not so much.

Motorcycle scene is unforgettable.

“Stalag 17” was one of my dad’s favorite movies. I would watch it with him every time. My mom found other things to do. Outstanding cast and themes.

Similar...The Great Escape was one of my Dad's favorites and is one of mine...to this day if my wife hear's the musical score...I'll hear something like "Again? You know...you can recite the dialogue...isn't that enough?"
