The Everything Drawer - Everyone has one, right? (post anything - within the rules)

Lagavulin 16 is my go-to single malt, followed closely by Laphroaig 10.

Not much of a bourbon guy, but I did try several a year ago, and decided that Woodford Reserve proved to be consistently the best in my humble opinion.
Now those are some FINE scotch selections!!

Those...or a 21-year old Glenlivet... I never had any use for bourbon, ever. Last year a classmate of mine convinced me to try Willet's Pot-Still Reserve.

And I now have that alongside my single-malts and my one single-grain.

John Deere saga continued...

Well, when I arrived home I found the fiberglass part of the canopy sort of put together laying on the ground.
The funniest sight was watching DH try to straighten out the under-frame with the tractor bucket as his vice and a big sledge hammer.:bang:
You can kind of see the damage in this shot.

BTW...when we first moved to the "farm" in '94, we decided our theme song was "Green Acres"; it still applies.

That John Deere Green paint isn't cheap either.

We deal with some engineers in New Mexico. I was telling one of them I had to brush hog my pastures. He had no clue what I was talking about. So I explained it to him and he was just astonished that people had to mow down pastures once or twice a year. Being from that part of the country he just assumed grass never got that tall.

No, it isn't cheap, but very reliable and can always get parts. Can't afford to replace it either -- the tractor is of 1995 vintage.

I have a Foundation Morgan mare in the pasture, which is only about 13.1 hands high. Many times when I came home from work, I would look for her and thought she was laying down, when actually she was standing up! That was how tall the Fescue had grown. My husband claimed he was waiting to brush hog for the first time this year because he wanted to ensure any birds nesting were gone. I have a happier horse now.

I have a Foundation Quarter Horse Mare, actually my oldest son's he used for rodeo and ranch work when he lived at home. She started to founder last year so this year her green grass time is limited.

@Devil Doc .. all that's missing is the cuffs!!
As an aside, when the wife finishes her stitches w/a single hand tie..the resident's go, Damm... She tracked to be a surgeon, but wasn't a bully, so went ICU.LOL
Ring cutter?? Isn't that the table saw?? It's got a guide..
