I have a lot of images like that stuck in my mind. Usually, they involve enlisted kids in their 20's just doing their job right before their lives are cut short.

I believe that's her in the first photo.

This is the image of Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee that I remember. The juxtaposition of her humanity and the weapons leaning against the wall are, for me, striking. She was twenty- one. Here one moment. Gone the next. God bless all those that serve.
