To all my forum pals......son's package has arrived. He's not home so it hasn't been opened but I wanted to tell all of you first as we have all shared this experience together. Nothing has changed on his Dodmerg site page. Good luck to all!
 
Congrats to you both! I know you're pretty pleased -- and soon he'll be bouncing off the walls too! :thumb:

yay! USNA right? Congratulations!!!!! We are hoping for tomorrow :-)
 
Sorry if I am out of the loop, were you expecting this package? Did son have an LOA and you were just waiting for the appointment to come? Or did it just come out of the blue? Thanks... I'm hoping packages are coming out of the blue :shake:
 
will he wait to hear from CGA now that Objee told us the EA deferrals won't be reviewed again until March and won't hear probably til April? We'll see what happens, I guess!!

Hi. Son did not have an LOA but a principal nomination. It looks like the packets are now getting out there so we will all be here waiting together to support each other. Good Luck!
 
Congrats

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
My son rec'd his appointment packet (blue folder) yesterday in mail. Other son has a conditional appt, and is waiting on a waiver (or should I say praying on the waiver). Anyway....we are celebrating with one son, and waiting anxiously with the other, holding our breaths each day! One son will now have to choose between a couple of offers, but we think we know where he will go. Good Luck to all !! :thumb:
 
My son received his official USNA Appointment packet today on Friday, February 13th for Class 2013!!!!

DS received his official appointment package from USNA today! We are very excited! Here's hoping for similar news for everyone who is still waiting! :thumb::thumb:
 
Is it bad that I am cooking Valentine's Day dinner for my girlfriend right now but all I can think about is how sweet and beautiful that folder will look in the mailbox? I haven't checked the mail yet today. Hopefully I will get a Valentine's Day surprise.

On a serious note, thanks to all of you for your continuing support, including parents.

Eagle, sure hope you get that beautiful package soon. My son's was attached to the mailbox flag inside a clear bag. The blue folder came inside a manila envelope. Happy Valentine's day all!
