It feels like we have been waiting forever! Will decisions roll out throughout the week or should we anticipate Friday as THE day?

My DD said she just wants to know-- yes or no-- so she can accept her fate and move forward with plans! My fear is not hearing a "NO"-- it's seeing that she has been waitlisted and the waiting will continue!! The wait has been hard for sure but I hope we will look back and laugh one day at the conversations we have had around the dinner table as we considered all the "what ifs" and dreamt of the possibilities. From the moment she set foot on campus in September at the Cadet for a Day program, she has been dreaming of living the Cadet life, fully aware of the pros and cons of her choice and wanting something different than her peers. Now I think she just wants to be able to give a solid answer to "What are you doing after graduation?", the question that she gets asked numerous times a day by teachers, adults, and classmates. Best of luck to all waiting!!!

Deferral here, wondering the same thing. I noticed the sudden rise in known rejections among the RA applicant pool and was wondering how it would look for everyone else at this point. Definitely share the sentiment of wanting to be able to answer the question of what is to come after graduation. Best of luck to y'all in the coming week!

EA deferral here too!

My DD was a March 27 acceptance two years ago. They called her first thing in the morning to let her know and to find out if she was going to accept or if she wasn't sure yet. It looked like they were keeping tight watch on the yield so they could dribble out enough offers to get a full-but-not-too-full class. (Funny story: she was driving to school when the call came, so when she got there and the msg was from CT she freaked a little so her friend took the phone and picked up the voice mail for her. She called back, it was all good, late to class but good.)

My cadet found out at midnight on March 31st last year that he had been waitlisted. We locked into plan B and then he didn't get pulled off the waitlist until May 27th! We survived the extra long wait by getting excited about Plan B and buying the t-shirt!
This was also our experience… same dates and everything 😂 it was a crazy summer but we can laugh about it now!

I think someone mentioned AO wrapped up decisions last week. Not sure if that means slots were filled and now they will offer waitlists if a slot opens up.

Everyone still waiting, be patient for another day or two. You have made it this far and if you haven’t heard yet, assume you are still under consideration. I’m optimistic there are appointments available - appointments in past years were made on the very last day. Last week the original poster said:

Not sure how many appointments are left, but our AO said the board is wrapped up as of this week. I am sure there will be some revisiting and waitlist shuffling etc. but the main regular board meetings are wrapped apparently. Having said that, they may not finalize notifications until April 1 which I believe is the “know by” date for USCGA.

And I think just because the board wrapped up, doesn’t mean the commandant or superintendent has reviewed.

Nothing here, and portal still shows that DS application is still ready for review; and the "review completed" is not checked off. I know sometimes the "dashboards" for other SA's were not updating correctly, so not sure if that is the case here?

I have heard that the Review box means nothing and that it is often not checked off even after appointment.

I’m deferred from EA. That “review completed” box gets checked when a decision is available to view.

Then you click “decision available” and it will take you to your letter through the admissions portal.

Best of luck to everyone!

This is how my portal looks, but it is for EA. I was deferred and am currently waiting to hear back about RD. Is the portal going to change any? Or will both letters (the one from EA and the future one from RD) be under the same CCEB Decision Link? Thanks!
