Thin letter :(

I recently got the thin letter from the coast guard, saying my application will meet the review board. is this a good sign?

I believe it is simply a letter stating your file is complete and is soon to be reviewed by the Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board (CCEB) for a decision.

You should know or in the next two weeks.

Son got thin one also

We had a thin envelope come and it said up for review the next week he got another thin one saying yes, they just needed update CFA scores. So not all thin envelopes are bad.
