Good speach! Could have used a little "representation" from each of the services, as all are in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I was looking at the links, one said "soldier" in support the troops. I wonder the last time the NRA called a Marine "soldier", what the reaction they got was...

The speach was well delivered. Was that a recept presentation or dated? I can't place the event. (obviously it was the NRA). Interesting statistics at the beginning of the speach as well.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all!

LITS: So what is the differance between an Army grunt and a Marine grunt?
I mean a grunt is a grunt is a grunt. right TPG:yllol:

LITS it said below that it was from thanksgiving 2009

Thanks Kero.

Haha, grunt is a grunt. I made a point of calling a Marine a soldier in a speech, to illustrate an issue. Should have seen the look on the 2Lt. and Staff Sgt. in that room....and those looks came despite the warning a I gave the day before "I'm going to say something to illustrate a point, hold off from killing me until I finish the thought".

I love Ollie, he makes so many on the other side cringe and makes me proud to be one of those American's who "gets it".

That obviously was from the 2009 NRA Annual meeting that was unfortunately not able to attend as an NRA Life Endowment member. Looks like I won't be able to attend this years either...I think I have a Graduation then :thumb:
