Three Soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Back in 2007, I was in Iraq. Friends of my parents had a son in Afghanistan at the same time. He was killed by an EID. His parents were informed of their son's death on Father's Day.

RIP brave Soldiers.

Years and years of being on a war temp ops footing. Exhausting and lethal.
We won’t forget them.

I actually had my Thailand, Laos and Cambodia cap on this morning. "The Secret War". It will never end but pray for those who serve.

“Army Sgt. 1st Class Eric Michael Emond, 39, of Brush Prairie, Wash., Army Capt. Andrew Patrick Ross, 29, of Lexington, Va., and Air Force Staff Sgt. Dylan J. Elchin, 25, of Hookstown, Penn., died Nov. 27, 2018, from injuries sustained when their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Andar, Ghazni province, Afghanistan.”
